As the new day dawned and our daughter’s fever broke, we were eager to explore. The morning air was still cool as we set out on foot towards the lake, a short and pleasant walk from our hotel.

This architectural marvel, with its medieval churches and Renaissance palaces, offers stunning Lake Como vistas. But what truly captured our hearts was the local cuisine – in my opinion, the best pizza and gelato in all of Italy.

On our final day, we discovered a local hike that provided breathtaking views of the larger Lake Como and Lake Lugano area. It was a fitting finale to our trip.
